To Madi, Christ was her strength.  She began as a small child, learning to love the Lord, and to trust in Him for all of her needs.  She grew up praying for others, believing for their healing and answered prayers, and leaning on the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit.  Throughout her young life, I knew that she was different than others.  She always wanted to absorb more knowledge of God, and she desired to be in His presence as much as possible.  As I watched my daughter grow into a powerful prayer warrior, my heart was so full of love.  She was always thinking of someone else's need.  Even in her sickness, she would push herself to arise from her seat in the sanctuary, and walk over to lay hands on someone and pray for them.  There were times, when I would walk into her room, and she would be worshipping and studying the Word of God, and crying for her friends salvation and protection.  And in her own battle with cancer and graft vs. host disease, Madi never wavered in her faith.  She continued to trust in the Lord and believe that He was in control.  She has taught me what true faith is, and that her heart was so very full of love for Jesus Christ.  I want to be just like her.

Through Madi's Hope Foundation, we want to spread the message of Christ to all that will hear.  We want to continue the work that Madi was doing while she was here on the earth, and further her mission to bring others to Christ.
